- The SBCM – Brazilian Symposium on Computer Music is a biannual event with international recognition in the field of computer music organized by NUCOM, the Special Committee on Computer Music of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). This 14th edition will be held from 31 October to 2 November 2013 in Brasília, capital of Brazil, and will address (i) the ICT in musical production (focus on ICTs); (ii) the music produced using ICT (focus on music); and (iii) the ICT and a mediation tool between society and music (focus on music consumption and access).
- The Fourth Workshop on Ubiquitous Music will take place at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS – Porto Alegre), from 5th – 8th of December 2013. Researchers dealing with sonic and musical applications of information technology were invited to share proposals, initial results and complete research projects. Full papers will be published in the Scientia Tec Journal.
